Abrupt death of Teddy Gakwaya

We were happy to welcome Pastor Augustine Gakwaya into our USA home this summer.  We met Pastor Augustine and his wife Teddy in Rwanda.  We spent time with them in their home, met their beautiful children and spoke at their church.  Their kindness to us showed the love of God in action.  We were so blessed to have met such a wonderful couple. 
 
Shortly after Pastor Augustine returned to Rwanda we received this message of his wife's sudden death. 
 
I'm sure he and his children will appreciate your prayers in this time of great miss and mourning.

 

Dear Friends,

      This is to announce sad news of the abrupt death of Teddy Gakwaya.

She died of heart attack and it happened when she had finnished preaching on a mission in east of Rwanda, this took place last evening. She has left behind 6 children. I need you earnest prayers at this tough time.
